Recent Cruising News:
"Due to high winds and rough seas, the Disney Magic was delayed leaving Port Canaveral on Friday, February 12, 2010. The ship was required to stay at Castaway Cay through Saturday and returned to Port Canaveral Sunday morning, a full day late. When the Magic arrived at Port Canaveral, it was forced to disembark in a different terminal owing to the Wonder being at the Disney Terminal. Guests waiting to board the Magic on Saturday were provided with a one-day pass to Epcot on Saturday, vouchers for dinner on Saturday, accommodations for Saturday night, and $100 in shipboard credits as well as 20% off the cost of their cruise. Guests onboard whose return was delayed were given 20% off a future cruise and assistance in changing their travel arrangements. (This is one reason why trip insurance is important!)"

Making Memories (Memory Cards That Is!)
"We traveled with three other parties who live in other parts of the country, so we made sharing digital pictures easy. We each packed extra blank SD cards (and we happened to all bring our laptops), and on the last night of the cruise, we got together and made copies of each other's pictures on our own SD cards. You could also make the copies straight to your laptop. Because we had planned to do this ahead of time, it prevented us from all having to take the same picture on our individual cameras...as long as one of us got a great shot, then we could all enjoy it later!"
