$1 PassPorters
Our $1 PassPorters are a GREAT introduction to the PassPorter
concept -- for you or for a friend/family member. Each year we give away older editions -- typically
either last year's editions or the previous year's editions, depending upon date and quantity available.
The information is a bit out-of-date at this point, but there's still a lot of good stuff in
these books and it'll give you a feel for our style and coverage.
Why do we offer copies for only $1? Aside from our first edition (which is sold as a
collector's item), the remaining stock of our older editions are just sitting on a
warehouse shelf. Many publishers destroy their remaining stock (some publishers discard
at least 20% as a rule). But we'd rather give them to good homes... like yours!
We found new homes for a bunch of older copies in previous years -- it was such a
hit with our readers that we now do it on a regular basis!
Please note that you will receive an older edition, not the current edition.
Very limited quantities are available, so if you really want a particular book you need to
watch our newsletter for news and act quickly. (Note:
PassPorter's Club passholders get first crack
at our $1 PassPorters as a perk of their membership.) When we're out, we're out! Limit 5 per order, please.
No distributors or stores, please. Limit of five books per order (if you need more, please send an e-mail to orders@passporter.com).
Please also note that no other discounts/coupons may be used for these books --
the $1 price is firm. Once an edition goes out of stock, you will be
unable to order it. You can check the stock status of all closeout items by clicking
the "Status" link located under the price on the book's product page.
Please also note that if you order a $1 book with a pre-order item, your order
WILL NOT SHIP until all items are in stock. If you prefer to receive your $1 book earlier,
please order it separately.
